A set of 21 designs for fan papers, with illustrations by artists including Suzuki Kason ("Kwasson") and Takeuchi Seihō. Some fans have been woodblock printed, others lithographically printed, and many show the use of metallic pigments. A nice set of works representative of early twentieth-century Japanese aesthetics.
Twenty-one loose printed leaves. Creases, folds, marks, occasional tears (mainly to folds) and minor soiling. Occasional scrapes and mounting residue to versos. Each leaf measures approximately 15 x 49.5 cm at longest point.
