A hand-painted draft of an elegant fan design produced by "Toshio Inouye" of Kyoto (probably a fan shop or design studio). The design has been painted on fabric and shows strong Art Nouveau influences; Inouye's fans may have been created with a foreign market in mind.

One loose design hand-painted on fabric. Tears, light stains, and small losses to extremities. Stamp and handwritten notes to fabric. Large tape repair to verso. Available with or without mounting. 44.7 x 22.8 cm at longest and tallest points.
