A surimono featuring an illustration of a young girl playing a board game, by the Maruyama-Shijō School painter Gashun (active c. 1847-1859). Metallic pigments have been used in sections of the illustration. 

One ōbōsho surimono, complete. Folds, browning, light stains, and marks. Very minor bleeding to colour pigments. Slight oxidisation to metallic pigments. Washi paper repair to central crease on verso. Possibly also mounted on very thin washi. 34.5 x 53.9 cm.
