Acclaimed artists Kamisaka Sekka (1866-1942) and Taniguchi Kōkyō (1864-1915) are listed in the colophon as two of the three advisors for the magazine, which was published monthly. Celebrated artist Furuya Kōrin (1875-1910) is listed as the "responsible official" or "head" of Kaiseisha, the group that produced the magazine. Yamada Naosaburō was the publisher, and his famed design company Unsōdō was the main distributor.
