A sugoroku game sheet based on several contemporary plays including the jōruri (puppet) play Dan no Ura Kabuto Gunki, which features as its protagonist the courtesan Akoya and was first staged in 1732, and one of the several iterations of Meiboku Sendai Hagi, first performed in 1777. An eye-catching and colourful work.

One leaf, woodblock-printed on one side, complete. Mounted on thin washi paper. Light soiling, browning, wear, and marks. Washi and tape repairs to verso. 35.3 x 46.8 cm.
